The goal of the Homebound Ministry is to bring Christ in the Holy Eucharist to homebound parishioners of St. Catherine-St. Colman Parish.
Homebound meaning the parishioner is unable to attend Mass either:
We are truly blessed to be able to serve our Parish through the Homebound Ministry. If you are homebound and unable to attend Mass or know someone who is, please call Pat 845-382-1270 to arrange a visit.
If you are a parishioner and would like to join the Homebound Ministry, please call Pat at 845-382-1270. We are a team of six extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers currently serving seven parishioners. Three are three weekly visits, two monthly and two once or twice a month. These number change as the needs of the Parish change.
We use “The Catholic Handbook for Visiting the Sick and Homebound.” The book contains all the prayers and the Sunday Gospels needed. Please consider joining us – a team member will go with you until you feel comfortable on your own. Don Price will help you become an extraordinary Eucharistic Minister if needed.
